How To Repair Your PC All By Yourself

I am of the opinion that everyone has the potential to become a tech geek at least to fix his own PC computer, if not to be employed as a PC expert or technician. I realized this recently and I can prove it with my own experience.

I am a long time PC user. I use quite an old PC; I think I bought it almost 7 years ago. It still works fine despite some problems now and then. Until recently, whenever an issue surfaced on my PC, I wouldn’t care inspecting it or even reading the error message. I would ring the technician. He would come sooner or later depending on his workload and troubleshoot the issue and charge me handsomely for service. I wouldn’t mind paying him the fee he asks because what I cared the most was the condition of my PC.

However, a few months ago, when my PC bumped into a problem, I was forced to inspect the issue and troubleshoot it myself because my technician was unable to show up. Since I didn’t know any other solution, I thought I would try to see what the cause of the problem is, if not to fix it. In my inspection, I found that the OS was corrupted and that I had to reinstall it. However, I had no idea how to go about it.

Tech support comes to rescue

As most of you do when you come across a PC problem, I did some online searches to find out a way to reinstall the operating system. Although there were many sites that described the steps, I wasn’t able to follow them because of the technical jargons used in them. Finally, I came across Tech Support desk. I should say that I found a few Omni Tech support ripoff pages but I ignored them because what I needed was an immediate solution. I dialled the toll free number that I found in their official website and got in touch with a technician. He directed me through steps for reinstalling the OS and it went well. The issue got resolved.

Tech service subscription

I was impressed by the quality of service offered to me by the technicians at Tech support. So, I didn’t think twice before buying a PC support service subscription.

What I find most interesting with Tech support is that they offer a lot of free troubleshooting steps and Knowledge Base articles. Reading them, one can become a tech geek himself and fix a good number of PC issues. I am certain that the Tech support ripoff news posts being spread are totally rubbish.

New Features In Microsoft For SharePoint Online And OneDrive

Cloud computing is the latest technology that is all set to change the world. The age-old custom of installing a specific application software is all set to change and will soon be replaced by one software that will run all your application software through net.

As opposed to the opinion of many Tech Support Fraud sites, the authentic Tech support employees believe that the advantages of this system are multi-faceted. To begin with, you will be paying monthly subscription cost to service providers. The best part is, a steady internet connection is all you need. You can access your software as well as your data from ANY computer across the world upon typing in your password.

However, cloud computing and cloud storage has a major threat, Data loss and hacking. In order to address this concern, Microsoft has recently increased its data loss prevention features in Office 365. This feature is now available for SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Businesses, apart from email tools.

OmniTech Support employees state that Office 365 already has DLP capabilities in-built into both Exchange Online and Outlook. This way, compliance officers would be able to monitor email communications in order to enforce corporate and regulatory rules pertaining to sensitive corporate data. Such data includes confidential intellectual property details and the customers’ financial information.

However, Microsoft has recently integrated “first steps for data loss prevention” in Office 365’s SharePoint Online collaboration server and its OneDrive for Business cloud storage service intended for enterprise users. In the new system, administrators are able to search for content across SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business by specifying from a list of 52 predefined sensitive information types.

This database includes credit card numbers, passport data and Social Security information. If the administrators find any policy breach, they have the power to immediately export a report and take the most appropriate action. According to tech employees, all such DLP related tasks are managed through the Office 365’s eDiscovery Center console.

The blog spot detailing this new initiative has stated, “With this new capability, you can be better informed about what and where sensitive documents exist in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. And having this information will help you work better with content owners to ensure protection of sensitive data.”

Microsoft even has plans to expand the DLP features by including the ability to automatically detect sensitive content based on policies and trigger actions like automatically deleting or quarantining the data. Unlike Tech Support Fraud sites, the genuine Tech Support team believes that these set of features will be introduced next year.
